Bio

As the executive director for Academic Programs in Undergraduate Education, Meghan McMahon Johnson provides oversight to the academic programs within Undergraduate Education, including the Undergraduate Research Center, University Honors Program and the Experiential Learning and site-based programs which house the First-Year Seminars, Center for Leadership Learning, Washington Program and Quarter at Aggie Square programs.

McMahon Johnson has more than 18 years of experience working in student affairs, education, customer service, and health and social services combined. She also has in-depth mental health experience providing therapeutic interventions for high school and college aged students. Her expertise includes one-on-one and group behavioral interventions, life planning, academic enrichment and career assessments. Most recently her portfolio has expanded to include leading diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging initiatives and providing local school districts, families and community partners with intentional resources and tools to create more equitable spaces for their students, faculty and staff through workshops and inclusive activities.
